Secondo quanto riportato da Radio Vaticana martedì citando una nota della Segreteria di Stato , il Papa ha si ristretto la possibilità nel Mondo di assegnare il titolo di Monsignore , ma tali restrizioni non hanno valore nel Vaticano , in cui ancora oggi , un prete con almeno 5 anni di servizio nella Santa Sede , può diventare "Cappellano di Sua Santità".
Strano che questa "variazione" non sia stata riportata dai giornali.
